About the Company
Founded in July 2009, the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (SSTEC) is the master developer of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City (the Eco-City). It is a 50-50 joint venture between a Chinese Consortium led by Tianjin Infrastructure Investment Group and a Singapore Consortium led by the Keppel Group.
As the master developer, SSTEC works closely with the governments and private sectors of China and Singapore, as well as other international partners, to plan and develop the Eco-City. SSTEC is committed to building a sustainable Eco-City that is ecologically friendly, socially harmonious and resource efficient. Its role includes the development and sale of residential, industrial and commercial properties; transfer of land; leasing of industrial projects; construction of infrastructure and property management.
SSTEC will continue to play four important roles of the platform for bilateral collaboration, the Eco-City’s master developer, the project developer and the business park operator, seize the new opportunities brought about by China’s “dual carbon” development strategy, promote urban development of the Eco-City continuously, strive to bring the Eco-City to even greater heights as a leading low-carbon and smart city in China, and open up a new chapter for bilateral cooperation between China and Singapore.
